With over a decade of experience in luxury hospitality, Florent Chauveau brings his deep expertise in guest excellence and operational precision to his role as Hotel Director at Château la Commaraine Hotel, Spa & Cuverie.Prior to joining the Château, Florent held several leadership roles at the Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa in Champagne. From 2021 to 2023, he served as Director of Guest Relations, ensuring a highly personalised and refined guest experience. Between 2018 and 2021, he was Food & Beverage Manager, leading the teams with a strong attention to detail and a deep respect for the region’s terroir and seasonal ingredients.From 2015 to 2018, Florent held the position of Banqueting Director at the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts in London, where he oversaw prestigious events and private functions for an international clientele.

The name La Commaraine was first recorded in 1214, making it one of the oldest vineyard sites in Burgundy still in use today. Over 800 years of winemaking history rooted in the very same soil.

• Pommard produces only red wines
Unlike many villages in Burgundy that produce both red and white wines, Pommard is exclusively dedicated to Pinot Noir. Its powerful, structured reds have long been admired even by Napoleon I, who was known to favour them.
